Just when you thought the world was out to get you along comes Roy Cleveland Sullivan. The Park Ranger from Shenandoah National Park in Virginia has had a few run ins with Mother Nature. The man who earned the nickname the Human Lightning Rod was struck by lightning officially 7 times.
Roy Sullivan was struck in a fire watch tower, in his pickup truck, in an indoor ranger station, and even once in a boat while fishing. How could any of this get any worse? How bout the time he had to fight a bear after he was struck by lightning.
Richard and Shawn take the time to proclaim Roy Sullivan a real life superhero. Because how can you not have a super power when you’ve been struck by lightning 7 times.

About Language of Bromance
Together Richard and Shawn formed the podcast The Language of Bromance and from there it has been nothing but fun. The duo laugh about things they go through, stories in the news and even getting serious discussing net neutrality along with other issues. Every so often their friendship turns to a bitter rivalry with their nerdiest creation the draft episodes. An original take on a best of or a top 10 list. The draft episodes are done like an NFL Draft 7 rounds where Richard and Shawn flip-flop picks on various topics.
